1 Keebler Deep Dish Graham Cracker Crust
1 large egg yolk beaten
Brush on crust and cook at 375 for 5 minutes
8 cups sliced, peeled and cored apples (I normally use Granny Smith apples but any baking apple will do)
2/3 cup white sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar (I usually use light brown)
1/4 cup all purpose flour
3/4 t cinnamon
1/2 t nutmeg
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Make sure all the apples are evenly coated with the sugar/flour/spice mixture. Spoon into graham cracker crust
1 cup flour
1/3 cup white sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar (again I use light brown)
1/2 cup butter (at room temperature)
Combine all 4 ingredients (I use a pastry blender) until the topping looks like crumbs
Spoon on top of apples
Bake for 55 minutes.
Let cool on a rack (if you can!) - your house will smell WONDERFUL!!!
