1 pkg polish kielbasa or smoked sausage, sliced in 1/2 inch pieces
1 medium onion, thinly sliced and chopped
3 cans beans - any kind will do - I pick 3 different types
1 T brown or spicy mustard
1 T cider vinegar
salt, pepper and a little garlic powder
Add the kielbasa or sausage and the onions. Season to taste.
I always add about 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup water.
If you like a "thicker" stock, you can always add a little bit of cornstarch or flour to the stock to thicken it up.
This is great with cornbread! I usually make a grilled cheese sandwich with it.
