Day started like it normally does! Breakfast, feed criters and milk goats. A little backgrouind information . . . we have two refrigerators - one in our kitchen for our own personal use and one in our garage to store the eggs and we use the freezer to store meat, etc. WELL . . . the "garage" refrigerator had been making "strange" noises the other day, so I thought I would check on it. Lo and behold!! I think the refrigerator "kick the bucket" during the night because all my meat, etc. was pretty much defrosted. The refrigator portion was still relatively cool, so the eggs were still OK. But, I lost everything in the freezer.
Fortunately, my husband had taken the day off to spend time with our son being home from the Navy. So off we went to Home Dept in search of a new refrigerator. And the rest of the day was spent mvoing the refrigerator from our kitchen to the garage and installing the new refrigerator in my kitchen. And later to Krogers to restock what we had lost. Turned out to be a very expensive day! But, my new refrigeator does look awfully nice in my kitchen!!
